Community is a built in feature of COMSHARP CMS which act as a platform of information sharing between the site owner and the site members in BBS or forum style. You can customize the presentation of your community to make it like a dedicated communication platform, for example, an order followup platform where your customers can login and go to their chanel to followup their orders.

To create a community, please go to "Admin / Add New Community" where you can create as many communities and forums as you like.

Community Content

Go to "Community Content" tab, and under each culture tab you can input the title and description of your community. You can also customized the presentation of your community and the forums underneath, such as the Forum Commands, Topic Status, Topic Commands.

• Forum Commands: There are 3 commands for each forum, Current Topics; New Topic; and Topic Query. You can customize the presentation of the commands, such like "Current Order Lists","Submit a New Order","Order Search".
• Topic Status: There are 6 status for each topic, 1. Topic without followups; 2. Topic with followups; 3. Topic with over 10 followups; 4. Topic with elite speech (smile face); 5. Topic with taboo speech (sad face); 6. Topic sticky on top.  For 1, 2, 3 they are self explained; 4 and 5 are two status which you can express freely where 4 means postive and 5 means negative; 6 means the topic is kept on top.
• Topic Commands: Regarding the 4, 5, 6 status on each topic, there are 3 commands accordingly, you can customize the 3 commands according to their meanings, for example, "Order Shipped", "Order Delayed", "Order in Process".



Community Property

In "Community Property" tab, you can set the property of current community and its forums, such as the Moderator, and the menu presentation, like active and inactive menu icon, as well as the banner materials.

Community Permission

In "Community Permission" tab, you can set the browse, post and reply permissions where the setups could help you to assign your community and forums to certain users and user groups.
